Welcome to Shibari Ropeplay
We are a group of four friends, shibari enthusiasts and volunteers who organize shibari parties, workshops and teaching on beginner, intermediate and advanced level.
In our events we warmly welcome both new and old shibari lovers. Feel free to attend solo, with a partner or as a group.
Weekly teaching and shibari salon
Shibari teaching is divided into two groups: beginners and intermediate. A new beginners’ course starts approximately every second month. For more information, please see our Instagram account.
Shibari salon is a time and place for performances, sessions and practise. You may ask for help from the organisers and learn together with other participants. Salons might include performances of which we will inform separately on our Instagram account.
Schedule of the evening
If you are coming to our event for the first time, we strongly recommend that you arrive on time for the safety info.

- 7.15-8.15 pm teaching or performance
- 8.15-10 pm time for sessions and practice (or 7.15-10 pm when there is no teaching or performance)
Tickets
You don’t have to be a member of Club X to join our events. The only thing you need is a valid ticket. Entry ticket for each Tuesday has to be purchased separately through Club X’s ticket shop.
Accessibility
Club X is wheelchair accessible including a toilet and a shower. The door to the stairwell is quite heavy but our staff is happy to assist to you if needed. If possible, please let us know before hand of your arrival so that we can be by the stairwell when you arrive.

In Shibari Ropeplay we follow the principle of RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink). Further safety instructions and rules of the evening are always presented in the start info at 19 o’clock so please arrive on time. Please also note that the organisers are available only for teaching and instructions, not tying or sessions.
Shibari Ropeplay is a BDSM and sex positive event. All rules of Club X’s apply to our events as well. Familiarize yourself with the them in advance on Club X’s website (in Finnish). Note that Shibari Ropeplay rents the venue of Club X and thus we are able to help you with questions related only to our own Shibari Ropeplay events. About us & Contact
Shibari Ropeplay is organized by a group of four shibari enthusiastic friends. The parties, workshops and teaching are run as volunteer work and out of love to shibari as a lifestyle and a hobby. The organisers are not a part of Club X’s staff.
